David G. Glasser

David Glasser has over 36 years experience in litigation and in representing domestic and international clients in a wide variety of real estate transactions including high-end retail and office leasing, purchase and sale of retail, commercial and residential properties, and related financing matters. David also advises clients in general commercial and business transactions.

David has been trained as a mediator and is a former member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

David also has extensive experience in the area of family law, and utilizes his skills as a litigator, mediator, and counselor in representing clients in matrimonial and family disputes. In addition, David has spent many years assisting clients in planning their estates.

David was a partner in the firm of Pavia & Harcourt, which is where he started his legal career in 1984. In 1995, he and Steven Levin formed Levin & Glasser, P.C.

Stephen C. Greene

Stephen Greene’s practice focuses primarily in the areas of cooperative and condominium law, including corporate governance matters, mortgage financing, contract drafting and negotiation, and in the representation of clients in a wide variety of real estate transactions including retail and office leasing, the purchase and sale of retail, commercial and residential properties, and related financings.

Stephen also has significant experience in complex commercial, real estate, and general business litigation in federal and state court.

Before becoming a lawyer, Stephen served as an officer in the United States Army.  He was qualified as a U.S. Army Ranger and attained the rank of captain while leading armored cavalry reconnaissance units.

Stephen began his legal career in 2000 as a law clerk to the Hon. Gregory W. Carman, who was at that time Chief Judge of the U. S. Court of International Trade.  Stephen joined Levin & Glasser in 2002, and became a partner in 2011.

Jay Ginsberg

Jay Ginsberg focuses primarily in the areas of cooperative and condominium law, commercial and real estate litigation, and landlord-tenant practice. Jay and the firm’s co-op team counsel more than ninety condominiums and cooperatives, and also represent sponsors, developers, managing agents and real estate owners. Jay also regularly handles general commercial and construction litigation matters, landlord-tenant disputes, corporate governance matters, mortgage financing, contract drafting and negotiation, leasing, and administrative issues and proceedings.

Jay has over twenty five years of trial and appellate experience in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.

Jay began his legal career as an associate at the firm of Borah, Goldstein, Altschuler, Schwartz & Nahins. From 2000 until he joined Levin & Glasser in 2012, Jay was associated with the firm of Michael B. Kramer & Associates and its predecessor firm.

Doug Lehman

Doug Lehman has practiced for over 30 years in the areas of domestic and international estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate litigation. He began his career at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson, after which he spent 31 years heading the Trusts and Estates practice at Pavia & Harcourt, where he became partner in 1985. He is engaged in planning for individuals with assets and residences in multiple jurisdictions. Doug regularly counsels foreign clients with U.S. connections and has lectured on residency rules for U.S. tax purposes, individual portfolio investment in the U.S., tax treaty issues, and in structuring U.S. business and real estate investments. Doug also represents charitable organizations in the areas of planned giving and bequests. Doug joined Levin & Glasser in 2010.
